The main thing which i try to figure out is that how people structure the application in MOSS, site, sub sites, pages,

Cleared 70-541

On Monday 2nd march 2009, i passed Microsoft window share point services 3.0 application development 70-541,

My Experience about preparing for 70-541

  1. Buy hard cover book of Inside Microsoft Windows Share Point Services by Ted Pettison, you can easily purchased that book if your living here in Karachi Pakistan from Urdu Bazar
  2. Try to read first three, sixth and seven chapters thoroughly, you can refer to the sample codes for that book which are easily available http://www.microsoft.com/mspress/companion/9780735623200
  3. if you feel that you are getting difficulty to understand then you should see each chapter sample code and try to under every piece of code
  4. in my case i put 2 months target for that certification, as i was a beginner at that stage, try to take the exam date in advance, and for God Sake don't reschedule the certification, because the delay will erase your interest.

my next challenge is to clear the Microsoft sharepoint server 2007 Application Development 70-542 certification, i have already registered my self for that exam which is scheduled on 30th march 2009

this certification brought back some faith in myself

ABRAHAM LINCOLN's LETTER TO HEADMASTER

A letter written by Abraham Lincoln to the Headmaster of a school in which his son was studying. It contains an advice, which is still relevant today for executives, workers, teachers, parents and students.

A WORD TO TEACHERS

"He will have to learn, I know, that all men are not just and are not true. But teach him if you can, the wonder of books.. but also give him quiet time to ponder the eternal mystery of birds in the sky, bees in the sun and flowers on a green hillside.

In school, teach him it is far more honorable to fall than to cheat.....

Teach to have faith in his own ideas, even if everyone tells him he is wrong.

Teach him to be gentle with gentlepeople and tough with the tough.

Try to give my son the strength not to follow the crowd when everyone getting on the bandwagon...

Teach him to listen to all men; but teach him also to filter all he hears on a screen of truth, and take only the good that comes through.

Teach him, if you can, how to laugh when he is sad... Teach him there is no shame in tears.

Teach him to scoff at cynics and to be beware of too much sweetness.. Teach him to sell his brawn and brain to highest bidders, but never to put a price on his heart and soul. Teach him to close his ears to a howling mob.. and stand and fight if thinks he is right.

Treat him gently, but do not cuddle him, because only the test of fire makes fine steel. Let him have the courage to be impatient.. Let him have the patience to be brave. Teach him always to have sublime faith in himself, because then he will have faith in humankind.

This is a big order, but see what you can do. . He is such a fine little fellow my son!

- Abraham Lincoln"

Ramazan mubarak

there is a debate going on some times back that is it good to write Ramadan or Ramazan. which one is correct.
First of all both are good enough as both directly means to a same occasion or event. For Ramazan, the people of subcontinent or who speak urdu can pronounce a urdu alphabet which sounds like (Zoad) thats make a better pronunciation with Ramazan.

For Ramadan, some how it doesnt make the pronunciation as correctly as Ramazan does,

in the end all these clarification as mine, and can also be debated.
